Noel Bailie – Linfield Legend

The year is 1989 and an 18 year old Noel Bailie is just about to play his first game for Linfield, against Ballymena United in which The Blues win 0-4.

18 years, and 902 games later, he is still at Linfield and is one of the Irish League's most accomplished performers as a rock solid defender who rarely has a bad game, he is also the club captain.

He officially joined the club in 1986 from Hillsborough bc, and Has spent over 20 years at Windsor Park, showing remarkable commitment, why though he has never played overseas is beyond me as he would have defiantly made it playing in the premiership.

But he has shown to be a very loyal servant for Linfield, which is why so many people class him as a legend he has also played in Europe a club record 26 times...
